Doctor of Physical Therapy

Erica Hjelmstad earned her Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree from the University of North Dakota in 2016.

She has extensive experience treating patients in the areas of pelvic health, orthopedics, and sports-related injuries.

Her advanced training includes certifications in joint mobilization and manipulation, Myofascial Cupping, M1 Graston Technique, Functional Dry Needling (Levels 1 & 2), and Kinesio Taping (KT1 & KT2). Erica uses a hands-on, evidence-based approach to support recovery and long-term wellness.

Her goal is to provide high-quality, individualized care to help every patient return to doing what they love and living their healthiest life.

30 minute sessions are recommended for 1-2 treatment areas.

60+ minutes are recommended for 2+ treatment areas

** All services include a pre- and post-session movement and joint assessment. Please dress in loose fitting clothes. 

Functional Dry Needle:

A specialized-technique that requires advanced training used to treat pain and improve muscle function. It involves inserting thin, solid filament needles into specific points in the muscles known as trigger points.

Therapeutic massage technique that uses suction cups to lift and separate soft tissues, creating a vacuum that promotes blood and lymph flow, reduces inflammation, and alleviates pain by addressing restrictions in the fascia.
